Example Interpreter Summary

Genomic tests results are typically delivered in long PDFs with complex jargon that is hard for patients (and even clinicians!) to interpret.

In the Translating Science Interpreter app, we summarize a patient's genomic test results alongside their treatment history. Our summaries annotate the test results with educational material that explains what a test result means for patients like them. By educating patients, we can empower patients in shared decision making with their physician.

Our example report is based on a hypothetical patient who was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which has progressed over time to metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer. Over the course of this patient's care, they have been sequenced multiple times.
